Sunday, August 7, 2011 at 11:17PM Yesterday Beamer was Best in Sweeps at the Minuteman Samoyed Club Supported Entry in Greenfield,MA!!! Both he and Kira were entered in their last Sweepstakes as they will be over the age limit in a couple of weeks. Both placed in the regular classes in a very nice entry of 39 Samoyeds. After showing, the club had its annual picnic, which is always a hit! All in all it was a fun day filled with good food and friends, and great dogs....
Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 4:10PM What an amazing spring we have had with Kira (Kylie's pup from Kiska and Marty's litter last winter)!!! She is proving to be a natural in the show ring and she really blew our minds at her first weekend out! Be sure to see her pic on the home page and read the news of her wins posted there! She had very little training but knew just what to do and when she went Winners Bitch, Best Bred by Exhibitor and then took BBE Working Group First...you could have knocked me over with a feather!!! That day is one of the most fun at a dog show I've had. Those are kinds of days that keep you going.
We are hoping to get back to shows in Aug. - hopefully Miss Kira-boo doesn't decided to blow coat. I'd hate to miss out on the fun!
